本研究建立了一套客觀的機會分析與定義流程,目的是以系統化且擴張途徑明確之機會辨識手法辨識出跨產業與產業內的機會,進而達成創新之成效,過程中以矩陣評價新產品發展的可能性,並針對辨識出的強化機會進行產品概念定義。在進行流程工具強化的過程中,基於顧客觀察與調查逐漸被企業在創新過程中所重視,且為避免新產品在設計階段投注過多先入為主之概念,本研究在此分析與定義流程中加入設計思考的想法,考量「以人為本」的根本需求,還深入到人的內在和本質,引導目標顧客族群說出內心需求,進而強化目標規格值,使其符合客戶所需,在新產品的開發以及現有產品的持續改進都具有開創性之效。
本研究貢獻包含:(1)引入之關聯系統概念並提出一套整合性創新產品機會分析與定義流程實現產品/服務辨識,(2)強化「理想最終結果」之流程並給予更精確之定義流程與擴張途徑,(3)加入設計思考元素強化對使用者需求的理解,(4)整理出完整流程、表單、說明,並引入案例貫穿整體流程以利企業或服務流程實務上之使用。
The research modified original Systematic methods for Identification and Analysis of Innovative Products and integrate it with Design Thinking process, further enhancing it into an Integrated Innovative Product Opportunities Identification and Definition Process. The original design thinking process can only identify opportunities within its own subject industry. The integrated and enhanced process is capable of identifying opportunities within and across industries with key elements of the the new product or services clearly defined.
The contributions of this research include: (1) introducing concepts of associated systems for new product/service identification; (2) enhancing process of Ideal Final Result for product expansion; (3) incoporate Design Thinking into the comprehensive processes for better understanding the opinions of potential customers; (4) establishing standard forms, and descriptions to facilitate practical usage.
