全球企業隨著競爭的加劇和技術的迅速變革,往往必須通過創新和明確的策略來實現長期成功。而策略創業 (Strategic Entrepreneurship) 是將創業精神與策略管理結合,建立創新與策略管理結合的框架,幫助企業在不確定和快速變化的市場中保持競爭力,並提供可持續的發展途徑。因此,深入研究這一新興概念對學術界和實務界均具有積極影響。
通過整合性研究架構,了解到該架構受創業環境、創業團隊、創業資源、創業機會和創業過程等因素的影響,利用這些因素的相互作用,整合機會尋求和競爭優勢行為,財富創造的緣由,並為企業持續成長提供有效途徑。
本研究深入分析創業歷程,確實理解創業者的思考模式和學習過程,結果將有助於未來更多創業者面對不同創業環境和條件下的應對與決策,從而提升在高科技行業進行策略創業的成功率。研究的結論以及對於未來研究建議包含有:第一、深入研究創業經驗對創業成功的影響,第二、外部環境與企業策略的關聯性,第三、公司治理與企業成功的關係,第四、創辦人心理和韌性研究。期望能夠促進對於該領域的進一步探索和實踐應用。
Global enterprises, faced with intensified competition and rapid technological changes, often need innovation and clear strategies to achieve long-term success. Strategic Entrepreneurship (SE) combines entrepreneurial spirit with strategic management, creating a framework that integrates innovation and strategy. It helps companies maintain competitiveness in uncertain, rapidly evolving markets and provides sustainable development pathways. In-depth research on this emerging concept has positive implications for both academia and industry.
Our study aims to explore the entrepreneurial processes and experiential accumulation of high-tech startups amid global competition. Notably, we employ a comparative case study approach, examining three high-tech companies founded by the same entrepreneur in different environments—within the US corporate system, Chinese state-owned enterprises, and Taiwanese private firms. By analyzing the founder’s thought patterns and learning trajectories, we identify differences, commonalities, and outcomes resulting from strategic entrepreneurship.
Through an integrated research framework, we recognize that SE is influenced by factors such as the entrepreneurial environment, team dynamics, available resources, opportunity identification, and the entrepreneurial process. Leveraging the interplay of these factors, we integrate opportunity-seeking behaviors with competitive advantages, uncover the reasons behind wealth creation, and provide effective pathways for sustained company growth.
Our in-depth analysis of the entrepreneurial journey enhances our understanding of founder thought processes and learning experiences. The findings will empower future entrepreneurs to make informed decisions in diverse entrepreneurial environments, ultimately boosting success rates in strategic entrepreneurship within the high-tech industry. Our conclusions and recommendations for future research include exploring the impact of entrepreneurial experience on success, examining the relationship between external environments and corporate strategy, understanding the link between corporate governance and success, and investigating founder psychology and resilience.
