本研究旨在探討國小學生使用自由軟體進行資訊教育，對電腦態度與電腦學習成效的影響；作為日後資訊教育採用自由軟體之參考。
本研究採取準實驗研究法，以台北縣某國小五年級12個班級學生為研究對象，選取其中6個班級為實驗組，以自由軟體平台實施教學，另外6個班級為對照組，以微軟軟體平台實施教學，教學課程為「簡報製作」；經過七節課的教學活動後，比較分析兩組學生在電腦態度與電腦學習成效的差異。
主要研究結果如下：
一、國小學生的電腦態度不受作業平台與性別因素影響，而使用電腦頻率因素只在使用微軟軟體平台教學之學生的電腦態度形成顯著差異，使用自由軟體平台教學之學生則沒有。
二、國小學生的電腦學習成效不受作業平台與性別因素影響，而使用電腦頻率因素讓使用自由軟體平台與微軟軟體平台教學之學生皆形成顯著差異。
三、使用自由軟體平台與微軟軟體平台教學之學生，其電腦態度與電腦學習成效皆有顯著的正相關。

This study aims to study free software usage by elementary school students and its effect on students’ computer attitude as well as their computer learning achievement. This will provide a reference for policy-makers regarding using free software for information education.
A quasi-experimental method is used to study twelve classes of 5th graders from a certain elementary school in Taipei with six classes as experimental groups that use free software and six classes as control groups that use the Microsoft software. Both groups participated in a seven-course program on making presentations and then comparing the difference in computer attitude and computer learning achievement.
The results are as follows:
1.The computer attitude of Elementary school students is not affected by the operating system or the sex of the students. The frequency of computer usage only affects the computer attitude for students using the Microsoft software, and not for the students using free software.
2.Students’ computer learning achievement is not influenced by the operating system or the sex of the students. However, the frequency of computer usage leads to a difference for both students using free software and students using the Microsoft software.
3.There is a positive correlation between computer attitude and computer learning achievement with students using free software and Microsoft software.
