人口結構高齡化伴隨老人健保以及醫療照護問題是開發國家必須面對的社會隱憂。長期規律的運動可以減緩人體生理機能的退化,改善血脂肪朝正向分布,然而不當的運動可能升高人體氧化壓力。本研究之目的在瞭解長期不同型態的規律運動介入對於中老年人血液生化值是否造成不同的影響。以長期規律(每週三次以上,每次超過30分鐘,運動期超過三年)從事游泳、網球和太極拳運動以及無規律運動習慣者各9名,身體健康且無服食藥物的中老年男子為受試者(年齡:55.91 ±4.30歲;體重:68.05 ±8.01㎏;身高:165.99 ±5.25㎝)。停止運動24小時以上以及禁食8小時後,於橈尺靜脈抽血檢測分析血液中超氧化物歧化酉每(SOD)、榖胱甘月太過氧化酉每(GPx)活性、丙二醛(MDA)濃度、總膽固醇(TC)、三酸甘油酯(TG)、高密度脂蛋白膽固醇(HDL-C)、低密度脂蛋白膽固醇(LDL-C)以及尿酸(UA)濃度等血液生化值,所得資料以獨立樣本單因子變異數分析各組之間的差異,並以Pearson相關係數顯示各變數間之相關。研究結果如下:
(1) SOD的活性在各組間無差異(p>.05)。GPx活性則是太極拳組顯著高於游泳組(p<.05)。MDA的濃度,太極拳組顯著高於游泳組和控制組(p<.05)。
(2) TC、HDL-C、LDL-C和UA濃度,各組間無顯著差異(p>.05)。TG濃度則是太極拳組顯著高於控制組和網球組(p<.05)。
(3) 受試者收縮壓與舒張壓、LDL-C與TC、年齡與GPx活性、身體質量指數與UA、TG與MDA及TG與UA呈現正相關(p<.05)。而MDA與舒張壓、HDL-C與身體質量指數及TG間呈現顯著的負相關(p<.05)。
結論:中強度游泳運動無氧化壓力形成,血脂分布較為理想,在控制尿酸值上稍差,整體來說,適合中老年人長期從事。高強度網球運動之氧化壓力略高,但在降低三酸甘油酯的濃度上較具效果,應避免過高之運動強度。低強度太極拳運動的氧化壓力最高伴隨較高的GPx活性,三酸甘油酯的濃度亦最高,從事此類運動,應適度加入中等強度之運動型式,增加脂肪的消耗。
Long-term regular exercise may alter plasma antioxidant enzyme systems and lipid profile in human. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of different types of exercise on antioxidant enzymes and cholesterol profiles in middle-elderly age(mean 55.91± 4.30 yrs)people. Body mass indexes(BMI)、blood pressure(systolic, SBP and diastolic, DBP)were also examined for their correlation to plasma biochemical parameter. Thirty six healthy males (9 swimmers(SG)、9 tennis players(TEG)、9 Tai Chi Chuan practitioner(TCG) and 9 sedentary as control(CG)) participated in this study. All of them were non-smoker and showed no risk of cardiovascular disease; these were assessed by questionnaire. Each group of 9, the non-exercise excluded, exercised regularly (3-6 times per week) for a duration of 3 years. Each exercise session lasted more than 30 minutes. Exercise intensity was estimated to be approximately 58﹪、92﹪、46﹪HRR for swimmer, tennis player, and Tai Chi Chun practitioners, respectively. Blood samples taken from a forearm vein, were obtained after 24 hours detraining and 8 hours fasting. Plasma lipid profile(total cholesterol [TC], LDL cholesterol [LDL-C], HDL cholesterol [HDL-C] and triglycerides [TG]), uric acid [UA], activities of antioxidant enzymes: superoxide dismutase [SOD] and glutathione peroxidase [GPx], as well as concentrations of malondialdehyde [MDA] were examined under resting conditions. The ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficients were used for data analysis, and the results were as follows:1)There was no significant difference among groups in the SOD activity and concentrations of TC、LDL-C、HDL-C and UA (p>.05). 2)The TCG showed significantly higher GPx activity than the SG, significantly higher MDA concentration than the SG and CG, and significantly higher TG concentration than the TEG and CG(p<.05). 3)Positive correlations were found in SBP with DBP(r=.59; p<.05),in LDL-C with TC(r=.95; p<.05),in age with GPx(r=.41; p<.05), in BMI with UA(r=.38; p<.05),as well as in TG with MDA (r=.37; p<.05)and in TG with UA(r=.41; p<.05), while HDL-C was significantly negatively associated with BMI(r=-.41; p<.05)and with TG(r=-.62; p<.05). The results indicate that the middle-elderly in the swimming group keep more favorable antioxidant enzyme systems and lipid profiles than do the tennis and Tai Chi Chun group, suggesting that physical activity of moderate intensity is more suitable for such men.
