加法風險模式與乘法風險模式均是適合拿來對個體的存活狀況作分析的模式，其中以乘法風險模式較被廣泛地應用，因此，在本篇論文中將著重於對加法風險模式之討論。在加法風險模式之下，我們將針對右設限資料來討論其迴歸參數 的一般估計量和它的漸近性質，並且進一步去驗證此估計量是否會存在區域混淆現象。倘若區域混淆現象存在，將建立EPA估計量來試著改善估計情形。我們會藉由模擬來比較 的一般估計量和EPA估計量，並且將以一實例來確認EPA估計量是否能真正減低區域混淆現象，而使得估計量更好。
