電子鼻技術雖然已經發展了很多年,但目前許多產品仍然由離散電路組成,本論文結合電子鼻的感測器和電路系統,採用 TSMC 0.18 µm製程 ,開發出一顆低功率電子鼻系統晶片,我們的研究重點在於建立一套 Instruction-based Power Model,透過指令功率消耗的分析,撰寫出低功率且具相同效能的嵌入式軟體,主要步驟是先分析 CPU 每個指令所消耗的功率,建立一套 Instruction-based Power Model;接下來將傳統 RTL 或 Gate-Level 的模擬提升至 System-Level 模擬,以加快功率消耗的分析。
我們把嵌入式軟體放進功率模型裡,進行快速的功率消耗模擬分析,以完成省功耗的嵌入式軟體系統。
