摘要
本創作論述是以2006年至2009年研究所期間為主，其創作目的在「以妖怪形象探討內心慾望」。

關於創作脈絡可從三個部分來解說，一、由中國鬼怪小說出發，並將故事加以改寫後從中得到創作靈感，最後再從既有的文本中獨立出來，書寫個人的故事；二、學理依據上，引用中國文學裡對妖怪的定義，從日本人類文化學家的研究結果中確立妖怪形象與妖境在本創作中的存在價值；三、從日本藝術家的妖怪作品裡分析出妖怪形象對其的含意，再從他們的藝術風格中找出對自身所產生的影響，並試圖以大量的草圖回應藝術家。

而作品發展脈絡上主要分成兩個系列，即：一、《前造妖境》系列，二、《造妖境》系列，《造妖境》系列包含文本創作與圖像創作兩部分；《前造妖境》系列可視為作品成熟前的過渡時期，本論文主要著重於《造妖境》系列，藉著文本的書寫與圖像的繪製呈現內心慾望。

Abstract

This thesis will discuss my art creation in the period of graduate study from 2006 to 2009. The main purpose is to explore the innermost desire through the monster image and will be presented as two parts, the background study and the body of art work.

For the background study, there will be three parts: first, the Chinese ghost stories inspire this study and the re-interpreted stories wrote by me to pursuit further inspirations. By doing so, I could write my own stories as well as a series of visual presentation. Second, for the research of theoretical study, I quoted the definitions of monster from the Chinese literatures as well as the Japanese culture and its anthropologists to establish the existent values of the appearance and conception of monster. Finally, from the study of Japanese artists' works about monster, I analyzed their styles and meanings of the monsters they drew. Then I tried to find out the influences on own and carry on the visual as well conceptual dialog with the artists through a body of sketch works.

For the body of art works, there will be two parts of developments. The first one will be a series of "Before the wonderland of spirits" and "The wonderland of spirits." The former one could be regarded as the transition states of the mature works; the latter contains two parts of creation, the writing and picture. This thesis mainly focuses on the series of "The wonderland of spirits" and reveals the innermost desires through the text writing and visual presentation.
