由於DVD的資料容量與儲存密度遠較CD高出許多,使得DVD之資料格式及碟片架構與CD有相當的差異性,而DVD光碟機可讀取的碟片種類繁多,為了將資料完整地從光碟片讀出,DVD需採用更精準的伺服控制系統。然而,目前市售DVD光碟機對於碟片反射光量的差異性,只在光碟機啟動時的自動調整程序(automatic adjustment procedure)裡進行補償,但不隨碟片內外圈做即時調整(real-time tuning);因此本文以5倍速DVD光碟機為實驗機台,分析碟片之反射光量對聚焦與循軌誤差訊號(FE、TE signal)所造成的影響,並撰寫LabVIEW程式,設計一訊號預測器(signal predictor),可預先得知聚焦與循軌誤差訊號,如此便能對訊號進行即時調整,以提高DVD光碟機伺服系統的精確度。
