岩上是笠詩社中生代的代表性詩人之一，欲透過此篇論文，來探究岩上的生命歷程與其詩歌風格轉變的關聯性、其關懷群體社會也重視個體價值的創作方式以及不同主題的詩歌創作，並透過詩瞭解岩上的生命。從原鄉嘉義，一處靠海的小漁村，到後來居住大半輩子的南投，身處內陸，截然不同的兩個地方，都被稱為故鄉，是否對創作風格產生影響；除了創作詩，美術的造詣也不容小覷，是否因此改變他觀察事物的角度都是本篇論文要研究的目的。本論文共分為六章，各章節內容如下：
第一章為緒論，介紹研究動機與目的、研究範圍與義界和文獻回顧與分析，以及解釋研究方法與步驟。第二章談岩上生命歷程與其詩分期，將岩上的生命歷程分成前、中、晚三期，前期為從個體價值至群體社會，中期為群體社會的深化與擴大，晚期為從群體社會回到個體價值，為岩上的創作歷程與分期做一個統整的說明。第三章是岩上的地誌詩書寫，以岩上的故鄉和旅遊經驗為出發點，先寫原鄉嘉義的回溯，再提家鄉南投，最後是國外行旅，然後做小結。第四章討論岩上的社會寫實詩，關懷社會一向是岩上創作的主軸，所以內容介紹政治議題、教育議題和環境題材，最後則是小結，討論岩上為這社會帶來些什麼省思。第五章談岩上的親情與疾病感懷詩，以岩上晚年的創作為主，討論父親意象、疾病感懷、生死之間，再做小結，討論岩上在這些情感的牽絆下如何影響他的創作。第六章是結論，統整歸納前面幾個章節，回到本篇論文的研究目的，並討論岩上在詩壇中的定位及對詩壇的影響。
然後歸納出岩上的詩皆圍繞著「愛臺灣」的主軸前進，樹立了本土詩人的詩壇地位。

Yanshang is one of the representative poets of the Mesozoic era of LI POETRY. Through this essay, I would like to explore the relationship between Yanshang’s life course and the transformation of his poetry style, his creative way of caring for the group society and attaching importance to individual values, and poetry creation on different topics , And understand the life on the rock through poetry. From Chiayi, a small fishing village near the sea, to Nantou, where I lived for most of my life, I was in the inland. Two completely different places are called hometowns. Does it have an impact on the creative style? In addition to writing poetry, The attainments of fine arts should not be underestimated. Whether to change his perspective of observing things is the purpose of this thesis. This thesis is divided into six chapters, the contents of each chapter are as follows:
Chapter 1 is the introduction, which introduces the research motivation and purpose, research scope and definition, literature review and analysis, and explains research methods and steps. Chapter 2 discusses the life course of him and the stages of his poems. The life course of him is divided into three phases: from individual value to group society, the middle period is the deepening and expansion of group society, and the later period is the return from group society. Individual value provides a comprehensive explanation of his creation process and stage. Chapter 3 is the writing of topographical poems. Starting from his hometown and travel experience, I first write the retrospect of the original hometown of Chiayi, then mention the hometown of Nantou, and finally travel abroad, and then make a summary. Chapter 4 discusses hix social issues poems. Caring for the society has always been the main axis of his creation, so the content introduces political issues, educational issues and environmental themes, and finally is a summary, discussing what he brings to this society. Chapter 5 talks about his affection and sickness poems. It focuses on his creation in his later years, discussing father's image, sickness, life and death, and then makes a summary, discussing how Iwashang’s influence on his creation under these emotional constraints. Chapter 6 is the conclusion, summarizing the previous chapters, returning to the research purpose of this paper, and discussing his position in the poetry world and its influence on the poetry world.
Then it was concluded that the poems on Yanshang revolved around the main axis of "love Taiwan," and established the status of local poets in the poetry world.
