嬰幼兒工作者的語言模式品質對於年幼孩童的語言發展有重要的影響性,然而國內對於探究托育人員或者職前教師所使用的語言模式研究仍顯不足,因此,本研究以一份評估教室師生互動品質的觀察工具「學步兒版評量計分系統」(Classroom Assessment Scoring System,簡稱CLASS)為評量工具,探究以下兩個研究問題:(1)分析職前幼教師在托嬰中心實習時,所使用的語言引導策略在CLASS之得分情況如何?(2)分析職前幼教師在托嬰中心實習時,所使用的語言引導策略之實際情況為何?本研究採用檔案研究為研究方法,以北台灣一所師資培育大學幼教系且有修習「嬰幼兒活動設計與環境規劃」課程之職前幼教師為研究參與者,共收集82位幼教職前教師於托嬰中心實習時的教學影像檔案107份,以及相關的教案與實習心得等文件資料。所有的教學影像檔轉為逐字稿後,以「學步兒版評量計分系統」中的語言模式層面進行分析,其中共包含了四項指標:「支持語言的使用」、「重複和延伸」、「自我對話和平行對話」以及「進階語言」的語言策略。研究發現指出:職前幼教師與嬰幼兒之口與互動品質落於低分層次,總平均為1.56分。其次,職前幼教師與嬰幼兒的口語互動表現品質與嬰幼兒語言能力及教學領域的特性有所關聯,例如:尚未出現口語表達能力的嬰幼兒因無法回應職前幼教師之提問,因此較少觀察到「來回交流」的語言策略;此外,由於「身體動作」以及「生活自理」等教學領域,因較常涉及職前幼教師需示範動作,「自我對話」以及「平行對話」的策略則較常被使用。依據本研究之發現,提供職前幼教師、「嬰幼兒活動設計與環境規劃」課程、現場托育人員以及未來研究者相關建議,作為實務教學以及未來研究方向之啟示。
The quality of teachers’ language models has an important impact on children’s language development. However, the studies on Taiwanese caregivers’ language models are limited. Thus, the study used The Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) as the evaluation tool to explore two research questions: (1) What is the analysis score of CLASS in the language teaching strategy used by pre-service early childhood teacher in the nursery centers during practicum? (2) What are the actual situation of the language guidance strategies used by pre-service early childhood teachers in the nursery centers during practicum? This research used archival research as the research method. The participants were from the Early Childhood Education Department of a Teachers College in northern Taiwan. They took the course " Curriculum Design and Learning Environment for Infants and Toddlers". During the internship in the nursery center, a total of 107 videos of 82 preservice teachers’ teaching were videotaped, and relevant lesson plans and reflective journals were also collected. After all the teaching files were converted to verbatim, all the documents were analyzed by the content of Classroom Assessment Scoring System of Language Modeling, which contains four indicators: support language use, repetition and extension, self and parallel talk and advanced language strategy. Research findings indicated that the quality of the language interactions between pre-service teachers and infants and toddlers fell at a low level, with an overall average of 1.56 points. Next, the quality of language interactions between preservice teachers and infants and toddlers were related to the infant’s language ability and the characteristics of the teaching field. Based on the findings of this research, the study provided preservice teachers, "Curriculum Design and Learning Environment for Infants and Toddlers" courses, caregivers, and relevant suggestions for future researchers as inspiration for practical teaching and future research directions.
