本研究之目的在於探討人體內脈波(Pulse Wave)與自主神經系統(Autonomic Nervous System) 於針刺內關穴之前、之中、之後的動態變化與關係。
此次研究共有三位沒有神經疾病的自願者參與,實驗一共進行了十五次。為了降低人為因素之影響,實驗之受測者均處於閉目但意識清醒的輕鬆狀態。實驗是將針垂直刺入內關穴,並以手動操作之方式(捻針)達到得氣狀態,三十分鐘後將針拔出。實驗記錄包括針刺前、中、後的生理電訊號,包括:心電圖(Electrocardiogram, ECG)、橈動脈(Radial Artery)脈壓及足背動脈(Dorsal Pedis Artery)脈壓。
本研究之所以選擇內關穴是因為它與心血管循環系統有關,而且在中醫的臨床治療上,內關穴對於心血管疾病的治療過程具有一定程度的療效。本研究希望從內關穴出發,探討針炙對人體的影響,並藉此了解中醫在針炙治療上的生理變化與其意義。
為了研究脈波與自主神經系統的關係,我們將針刺中及針刺後的所得到的數據與基線資料(針刺前)進行分析並比較之。分析的方法分為以下三類:統計分析、頻譜分析、分形維度分析。每一種的分析方法對於本研究均有顯著的意義。
本研究的實驗結果如後所示:第一、脈波在頻譜上的明確變化可以證明針灸具有影響自主神經系統的能力;第二、人體內不同部分的脈壓變化趨勢於針灸刺激後並不會完全同步;第三、脈波的分形維度於針灸刺激後大多會下降。我們認為這些影響均是自主神經系統為了達到人體內的生理平衡而做的調控。未來將會繼續研究這些生理現象的意義。
