本研究以藝術治療中的繪畫治療方式為核心，採用個案研究的方法，實施一系列以小團體的輔導活動方案，探討藝術治療在國小高年級新移民子女自我成長團體的運用研究。本研究流程為蒐集相關文獻，同時訪問、調查及收集相關個案資料，再統整資料，規劃並設計自我成長的小團體諮商活動方案，透過各項藝術治療檢核資料及實施活動，分析、檢討成效，以追蹤訪談特殊個案，再提出研究結果。本研究的結果如下：
壹、 在藝術治療自我成長活動的改變歷程：不管是新移民子女及非新移民子女，在語言表達都可看到明顯的進步。在媒材使用上也沒有很大的分別，最大的改變是對畫圖具有信心。在成員自我成長方面都朝正向的發展。
貳、 在藝術治療活動方案的設計與實施方面：要各方面配合得當，包括：方案的設計、時間的控制及安排、場所的位置要事先協調溝通、實施人員的技巧、選擇適當的媒材，所有的因素相輔相成，才能讓活動方案的進行順利。
參、 在藝術治療作品分析方面：在藝術作品方面，媒材的使用出現慣性，色彩的選擇顯露性別刻板的印象，從圖畫的內容位置可深入了解成員，線條筆觸輕重可探知心理狀況，所有成員畫圖內容出現社會文化的影響。
肆、 在藝術治療訪談方面：以藝術治療的小團輔可很深入的了解成員，如果事後再針對一些訊息做深入訪談，可獲得重要資訊。在訪談中透露新移民子女的心理狀況以及外籍配偶在教導子女所出現的缺失。

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the application of the self-growth group in the elementary school senior graders of the new immigrant children through art therapy by series of small group counseling activities. This study is by case study through collecting related references, interviewing, investigating, gathering cases information integrating data, and then designing self-growth small groups counseling activities through check list of art therapy, analysis, reviewing and following interview special cases. The main findings were as follows:

1. The process of the self-growth activities in art therapy: no matter who are new immigrant children or non new immigrant children, they are obvious progressing in language expression. There is no difference in materials. They all have confidence in paintings. The members in self-growth group are towards positive development.

2. The design and fulfillment of art therapy activities: including making a plan, controlling time and arranging places by good coordination, workers skill, appropriate materials, all factors complement each other successfully.

3. Analyzing the works of art therapy: the works show routine in selecting materials displaying stereotype impressions. From the contents of the paintings can deeply understand the inner part of the members. And the lines and style of drawing can explore the psychology condition, also the contents of all members’ paintings can show the effect of the social culture.

4. Interviewing about art therapy: the members in small group can deeply understand each other. In deep and specific interview can get some more important information. That can reveal new immigrant children’ psychology status and the defect of teaching children in foreign spouse.
