本研究藉由活體劑量驗證,來偵測照射條件的誤差。根據實驗的結果,可建立活體劑量驗證的協定,此外,對於系統的不準確度也加以分析,進而排除系統的不準確度。由病人體表入射及出射劑量,再經由穿透率曲線推導出中軸劑量。量測前,需建立校正因子與修正因子,校正因子是劑量對讀值的比值,修正因子是非參考狀況及參考狀況之間的比值,故包括射源到表面距離修正因子及照野修正因子。所使用的光子能量為 6 MV (Varian 2100C/D machine),二極體型號是 VeriDose 30-472 (5-11 MV),由於是量測兩測對照傳統照野的病人,故計算劑量時不包含不均質的修正。為找出系統不準確度的來源對二極體本身做量測(1)溫度依存性(2)面具造成劑量的擾動(3)離照野邊緣遠近散射的影響。假體的量測結果,其劑量誤差平均值為 0.184 %,標準差為 0.5 %。活體共量測 204 個照野,其劑量誤差平均值為 0.45 %,標準差為 3.12 %。若修正病人不對稱所造成的影響,標準差將降為 2.39 %;如果將手算劑量程式做不均質的評估,標準差將降為 1.51 %。系統不準確度由溫度而來的大約有 3 – 4 %;由面具而來的有 1 %;由面具和假體表面間隙造成的有 2 %;離照野邊緣四分之一邊長處將小於 2 %。只要經過不對稱修正及不均質評估,活體劑量驗證就可成為偵測劑量準確度的方法。
