  • Accessing information has become an important part for citizens, business sector and government worldwide. Wireless broadband provides ubiquitous networks with high-bandwidth connections to the largest number of inhabitants from anywhere and at anytime a capability which enable information to become a public good which is essential for all forms of economic activity and good governance in both advanced and developing nations.

    Purpose of this study is to identify, evaluate and analyze the economic and social benefits of wireless broadband technology deployment and government policy toward broadband infrastructure deployment in the effort to bridge digital divide in Malawi.
