本研究旨在探討有無動脈硬化樣本中,踝臂脈波傳導速率與心血管危險因子的差異。選取桃園地區某綜合醫院EBT心臟血管預防醫學中心的健康檢查個案為研究對象,依據醫師判斷為動脈硬化的標準,再經醫師同意取得研究對象性別、抽菸、年齡、身體質量指數、糖尿病、高血脂與高血壓等心血管危險因子的數值後,進行統計分析。統計方法有卡方檢定(Chi-square test)和獨立樣本t檢定(independent t-test)。本研究共取得288位有效樣本,平均年齡為55.22 ± 11.04歲,平均身高為166.28 ± 7.68公分,平均體重為69.95 ± 12.35公斤,其中動脈硬化樣本167人,無動脈硬化樣本121人。研究發現動脈硬化樣本的踝臂脈波傳導速率顯著高於無動脈硬化樣本;由心血管危險因子中,發現性別、抽菸、年齡、空腹血糖、三酸甘油酯和收縮壓等,有無動脈硬化樣本間有顯著差異,且三酸甘油酯為較重要的因子,建議可透過運動減少血中三酸甘油酯的含量,以延緩動脈硬化的可能發展。
The purpose of this study were to investigate the significance between brachial-ankle pulse wave velocities (baPWV) and cardiovascular risk factors in subjects with and without atherosclerosis. Subjects were recruited from EBT Cardiovascular Preventive Medicine Center at a hospital in Tao-Yuan. At first, according to the criteria diagnosed by the doctor, we classified subjects into two groups (with and without atherosclerosis). Second, we received the permission to collect the data of cardiovascular risk factors, including gender, smoking, age, body mass index, diabetes mellitus, high blood cholesterol, and high blood pressure. Besides, we also obtained the informed consent from the doctor. Third, we investigated the significance of difference between two groups, followed by Chi-square test and independent t-test. Results showed that: (a) there were 288 subjects whose average age was 55.22 ± 11.04 yr, average height was 166.28 ± 7.68 cm, and average weight was 69.95 ± 12.35 kg. And there were 167 subjects with atherosclerosis and 121 subjects without atherosclerosis. (b) baPWV was significantly higher in subjects with atherosclerosis than those without. (c) Among these cardiovascular risk factors, gender, smoking, age, fasting blood glucose, triglyceride, and systolic blood pressure had significant difference in subjects with and without atherosclerosis. Therefore, this study concluded and suggested that: (a) Triglyceride was more important risk factor for atherosclerosis. (b) We could exercise more often to reduce the amount of triglyceride. And by this way, we could reduce the possibility of atherosclerosis.
