台灣平板玻璃無處不在我們日常生活中，筆者透過對玻璃媒材的接觸以及燒製過程，發現台灣平板玻璃燒製穩定度不高又較少人拿來創作，身為新竹香山人認為很可惜。本創作論述想藉由自己的實驗及對媒材的認識，探討台灣平板玻璃色彩化的可能性。
透過相關文獻、期刊、資料蒐集，實驗不同釉藥與玻璃之顏色、釉彩、排列方法，從而應用其理論及試燒結果創作出美觀之玻璃製品。本創作使用低溫釉藥之釉藥貼紙、絹印釉藥玻璃兩種加工上色方法將平板玻璃上色。將平板玻璃熔合，結合烤彎、噴砂、不同排列法等多種技法，並透過實驗過程了解技法特性、技巧及對材質更加熟悉，實驗出多種創作效果，並由實驗結果發想創作。
本創作分三大類作品，由三種創作媒材所組成，分別為「釉藥貼紙」系列、「絹印釉藥玻璃」系列和「絹印釉藥玻璃暨釉藥貼紙」系列，共計完成23件作品，並於「釉彩光影」創作個展呈現。在個展中獲得眾多觀者的回饋與好評，從中除了實現筆者創作目的中想將台灣平板玻璃色彩藝術化的嚮往，還在觀者的回饋中看到了未來發展的可能性，如平板玻璃室內裝潢、玻璃蛋糕屋等。

Sheet glass is widely present in our daily lives in Taiwan. Through my exploration of this medium, I have observed the limited stability of sheet glass production in Taiwan and the underutilization of this medium by artists. As a resident of Xiangshan in Hsinchu, glass holds significant cultural value for me, and I find it unfortunate that its artistic potential remains largely untapped. Therefore, this thesis aims to investigate the feasibility of introducing color to Taiwan's sheet glass through experimental exploration and comprehensive understanding of the materials.
Through an extensive review of literature, journals, and data collection, this thesis explores the colors and arrangement methods of different glazes and glass. It applies these theories and experimental results to create aesthetically pleasing glass products. Low-fire glaze decal and Screen Printing are two processing of coloring methods employed to color on sheet glass. Various techniques such as Fusing, Slumping, and Sandblasting are utilized to manipulate the sheet glass, allowing a deeper understanding of their characteristics and familiarity with the material. Multiple creative effects are achieved through experimentation, serving as inspiration for further artistic exploration based on the experimental results.
The creative output of this thesis is categorized into three main series, each representing a distinct form of artistic expression: the "glaze decal" series, the "screen printing on glass" series, and the "screen printing on glass combined with glaze decal" series. A total of 23 artworks were produced and exhibited in the solo show titled "Glaze Iridescence." The exhibition received extensive and positive feedback from the
audience. Besides achieving the author's goal of elevating the artistic value of sheet glass in Taiwan through vibrant colors, the feedback also revealed promising avenues for future development, such as incorporating sheet glass in interior decoration or creating glass cake houses.
