  • Recently, the advance of technology can enhance the learning process for the college students. Many students have changed their study behaviors and relies more on the technological device. The tablet PC is the one of technology which be used in the student’s learning process. However, does a tablet PC really helps students to improve their learning ability and study performed?
This research examines college student adoption of tablet PC using a modification of the “Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), which developed by the researchers in the technology acceptance field. The propose of the study is to evaluate the college students’ adoption of Tablet PC in some of factors that related to student’s learning ability and their study performance. As well as proving an assumption those students who have tablet PC would have higher student performance by using their grade point average (GPA) compare other students.
The research would be useful on education strategy for university and government about whether the technology can enhance the student’s learning ability and study performance.
