摘要

本論文由朗讀出發探討閩南語聲調教學，由於朗讀主要涉及用語音來表達語義與情感，因此能正確掌握聲調與輕重讀等，是最重要的基本功夫。本論文之研究對象為研究者任教學校台中市太平國小五年一班的三十三名學生。在研究過程中，研究者透過錄影、錄音、問卷、學生學習單、省思札記、學生訪談以及與協同研究夥伴對話等方式進行資料的蒐集與分析。

本研究獲致結論可分為兩方面來說明：首先是對學生的影響方面，研究者以語言學的音韻學為基礎，釐清閩南語的聲調特質，並據此設計教案、實施教學，發現透過教學，學生能正確掌握閩南語的聲調、變調規則、輕重讀，且能掌握文句情意之表達。其次是教學者的反省與成長方面，經由此次教學，研究者體會到教學是不斷反省、成長、行動的歷程，想達到教學完美境界，需要教學者的知能和技巧相輔相成才行；在教學過程中，教學者如果能給予學生適當的引導與示範，將有助於提升學生閩南語朗讀能力；此外，教學者應營造一個良好的閩南語朗讀教學情境，讓學生能勇於嘗試、勇於表達。

本研究因人力與時間的限制，所研究的內容與範圍可能不夠完善，建議未來可以採取單一個案進行閩南語朗讀教學的行動研究或實驗研究，或是延伸至以國小其他年級的學生作為研究對象，亦可從不同的角度切入研究閩南語朗讀教學，讓閩南語朗讀教學能獲得更完整的呈現。

Abstract
This thesis uses recitation as a starting point to investigate the instruction of intonation of Southern Min language. It is that recitation involves primarily the application of intonation in expressing the meaning and feeling of words. Consequently the ability of controlling the intonation as well as the accent becomes the utmost elementary skill one must have. The participants of this thesis were the students of fifth graders of class 33 at Tai-ping Elementary School, Taichung, whose classroom teacher is the researcher of this study. During this endeavor, the data collection and information gathering and analysis were carried out by the researcher via videotaping, audio recording, questionnaires, students’ worksheets, self-evaluation journals, meetings with students, idea exchange with colleagues and other means.

The conclusion of this research can be presented in two respects. As regards to the influence on the students, based on the linguistics and phonics the researcher first pinpoints the characteristics the linguistic sound of Southern Min. A course outline was designed and lectures were then given. It is found that through instruction the students could correctly grasp the tone, rules of pitch change, and the accents of Southern Min, and further understand the inner feeling the words were meant to express. The other respect of the conclusion is about the self-evaluation and learning of the instructors themselves. This researcher discovered from this study that teaching is a process of continuous self-evaluation, growing, and taking actions. For instructors to achieve perfection, their knowledge is required to couple with the teaching techniques. While in teaching sessions, it would help improve the students’ ability in reciting Southern Min provided that the instructors could offer proper guidance and demonstration. In addition, the instructors should also promote an advantageous atmosphere for learning the Southern Min language under which the students would be encouraged to try and express themselves.

Owing to the limited resources and time constraint, the scope and the content of this research cannot be complete by any means. It is recommended that an individual be selected for studying the reciting instruction of Southern Min language. For achieving better results, the study can be extended to students of different grades, and by taking various approaches to research the recitation instruction of the language.
