  • 本研究欲探討薄膜液晶顯示器(TFT-LCD)產業之中長期策略層面的產能規劃(Capacity Planning),同時考慮陣列(Array)與組立(Cell)兩大製程,且各製程下有多座廠區,稱其為二階層多廠區(Two-Stage & Multi-Site)產能規劃。
    此產能規劃問題目前有下列特性:(1)多階層、多世代且多廠區(Multi-Stage, Multi-Generation & Multi-Site)的生產環境、(2)瓶頸飄移現象、(3)層級式的產品種類、(4)產品需求往大尺寸與小尺寸兩個極端發展且市場總需求不斷增加。在如此複雜的生產環境下,面對有限的供給產能、層級式的產品種類與成長的需求,如何將陣列、組立兩大製程廠區之產能做最佳的運用?以及當產能不足時,應如何調整產能?成為TFT-LCD產業進行產能規劃時很關注的課題。
    本研究透過分析產業的供給面特性、需求面特性,以及獨特的瓶頸飄移現象,進而定義本研究的問題。接著,建構數學規劃模型,同時提出「陰影價格為基之分解演算法(Shadow-Price based Heuristic)」有效率求解之,其中,在演算法架構下包含兩種策略,分別稱為積極策略(Reactive strategy)、保守策略(Conservative strategy),前者選擇增加單位邊際利潤最高的產品之產能,而且儘可能滿足所有市場需求,後者同時考量單位邊際利潤與未滿足之需求預測量決定擴充產能與否,擇一策略進行即可求得可行的產能分配計劃(Capacity Allocation Plan)與產能擴充計劃(Capacity Expansion Plan)。後續章節也藉由實際案例驗證本研究提出之演算法可在有限的時間內求得較佳的可行解,以及分析兩策略之適用時機,進而給予規劃人員幾點建議:(1)除非供給產能遠小於需求產能,選擇任一策略無明顯差異,否則應選擇保守策略為佳、(2)若產品族銷售價格越低,選擇保守策略越好;若價格越高,則兩策略無差異、(3)若擴充成本攤提時間短,選擇保守策略為佳;若攤提時間長,則兩策略無差異。
