本研究旨在探討口腔衛生教學方案對腦性麻痺者學習成效與潔牙態度之影響，研究對象為三名腦性麻痺成人，本研究採單一受試法之跨受試多基線設計，研究工具為自編之口腔健康狀況及保健知能評估表、牙菌斑指數紀錄表、刷牙技巧評分表、教學紀錄表等，紀錄研究參與者之刷牙技巧、牙菌斑指數與齲齒狀況以及潔牙動機與習慣是否增進或改善，並將所得資料均以曲線圖與視覺分析及C統計來進行資料分析。
研究實施為期7週 (每週兩次上課)，共12節課程教學，進行9個主題單元。研究前2週為基線期 (1堂為整個課程介紹、3堂是觀察刷牙技巧及牙菌斑指數作為基線期資料)，介入期後有9堂主題單元加上1堂最後的綜合討論，共為期5週）。本研究工具為自編，在兩名觀察間評分一致性相關係數值達.8以上，具有一定的信度。
研究結果顯示：(1)口腔衛生教學方案對兩位腦性麻痺研究參與者（甲和丙）有立即效果及教學成效。但研究參與者乙經介入後，其刷牙技巧有慢慢地穩定，牙菌斑指數呈負偏向，並沒有因為介入後產生太大的變化，顯示儘管刷牙技巧有進步，但未達到顯著水準；(2)口腔衛生教學方案能增進三位腦性麻痺者潔牙動機，但其中研究參與者甲雖有增進潔牙動機，但在周末則呈現無增進潔牙習慣；(3)實驗結束後15週請牙醫師再次做口腔檢查以及問卷調查方式，瞭解三位研究參與者的組長、導師以及家長對於口腔衛生教學方案的滿意度及回饋，結果顯示皆有正向看法並對本教學結果滿意。
最後，針對本研究結果提出相關教學與未來研究之建議。

This study was to explore the effect of the oral hygiene education programs on the skill - learning outcomes and oral hygiene attitudes of people with cerebral palsy. Study designed as Single subject with multiple baseline design. 3 adults with cerebral palsy, aged between 26 to 41 years old were recruited. We used the self-compiled Oral Health Conditions and Health Literacy Scale, Plaque Index Score, Tooth-Brushing Skill Score and Learning checklist to record the brushing skill of participations, plaque index and dental caries, as well as to the improvement of tooth cleaning intention and oral hygiene practices. We used diagram of curves, visualization data and C-statistic to analysis.
There were 12 sessions for 9 units, two sessions per week and lasted 7 weeks. The first 2 weeks of the study were the baseline period (one session was an introduction to the course, and 3 sessions were to observe tooth-brushing skills and record plaque index). After the baseline period was the intervention period, which included 9 units and 1 final comprehensive discussion for 5 weeks. The inter-rater reliability was high (ICC=.8) within 2 recorders.
Results shows as follows: (1) Subjects A and C had excellent immediate effect. Subject B improved the brushing skills slowly and stabled, plaque index was negative and the tooth-brushing skill was improved, but not statically significant. (2) The oral hygiene education programs increased tooth cleaning intention of these 3 subjects with cerebral palsy, but subject A did not increased the oral hygiene practices during weekend. (3) 15weeks after the end of the experiment, dentist was invited for another oral health condition examinations. The satisfactions and feedbacks on the oral Hygiene Teaching Plans of the team leaders, tutors and parents were investigated by the questionnaire survey which showed they all had positive views and were satisfied with the teaching results.
