In this research, the new way of patent analysis was introduced. It provides another new view of patent map. Different from previous, the new one uses the visualization and 2-mode of social network analysis to construct a new kind of patent map. The 2-mode helps to quickly to compare and find out the specific pattern in patent attribute. With the assistance of visualization, the new result almost outcomes instantly. The new kind of graphic view could be help for patent analysis engineer to do the patent search or patent portfolio. The comparison and potential information could be shown via interpreting from the map. The new cluster way from graph also provides different meaning from data-mining one. The new way could be new and helpful choice when doing patent analysis.
