本文以幾何法求出二氧化碳氣泡附著於多孔性物質壁面可能之形狀與大小。結果發現氣泡體積有其極大值,超過該極大值氣泡即脫離而去,在不同接觸角下,極大值也不同。本研究建立一個簡便的機制,可由氣泡體積迅速算出其形狀。據此,本研究以擴散理論求出進出氣泡之淨二氧化碳質量,再藉以計算氣泡之體積。若氣泡壁面脫離後浮升而去之時間遠小於其成長週期,則可忽略氣泡浮升而去時對濃度場之擾動。本研究結果亦發現氣泡之起始大小對氣泡之最終成長速率影響不明顯,並可據此推測氣泡成長之週期。
