為了探討外資的買賣行為是否受到新型冠狀病毒疫情影響，本研究嘗試採用差異中的差異法 (difference in difference) 來進行分析。我們的研究期間從 2019 年 03 月 10 日至 2021 年 04 月 13 日，實驗的樣本涵蓋疫情爆發前一年至疫情爆發後一年，並另外對疫情爆發前後一個月及前後六個月外資的買賣超金額及買賣超張數進行實證研究。實證結果我們發現，外資的買賣行為短期 (一個月) 會受到 COVID-19 疫情事件影響，而中長期 (六個月及一年) 外資的買賣超行為皆不受疫情影響。

This study tries to use the difference in difference method to explore
the foreign institutional investors trading behavior during the
Corona virus disease. Our sample period takes from March 10, 2019 to
April 13, 2021. The samples of the experiment cover one year before the outbreak of the epidemic to one year after the outbreak of the epidemic. In addition, the research is conducted on the excess amount and excess number of trade of foreign institutional investors in one month and six months before after the outbreak of the epidemic. Our empirical result shows that the short term (one month) trading behavior of foreign institutional investors is affected by Corona virus disease, while the medium and long term (six months and one year) trading behavior of foreign institutional investors is not affected by the disease.
