    本篇論文主要在討論動相(Aspect)與複動性標記(Pluractional markers) 之間的相互關係。在Lenci (1999)的學說中,副詞量化(Adverbial quantification) 和動相系統有密切的關係。本文從漢語的角度出發,將複動性標記分為完整體(Perfective)以及非完整體(Imperfective)。由於非完整體在語意內涵中非受限的關係(Unbounded),它是屬於內延性質的(Intensional);相對的,完整體其受限(Bounded)的性質屬於外延性(Extensional)。
    就非完整體而言,討論集中在習慣句(habitual sentences),而其內延性展現在可能世界(possible world)上。漢語習慣句有三種,簡單泛稱句(simple generic sentences),量化性副詞泛稱句(quantificational adverb generic sentences),和老標記泛稱句(lau-marker generic sentences)。由這三種句型,我們可得知老標記泛稱句和另外兩類擁有不同的運符(operator) Gn 和HAB. 這兩類運符操作的範域(scope)不同,而老標記泛稱句的預設性解讀(presuppositional reading)也說明HAB的語意特質為歸納性(inductive),選擇的是預設性的情態基礎(presuppositional modal base)。Gn 代表另外兩類習慣句。 Gn 單獨出現時,代表簡單泛稱句;然而Gn可以和其他量化副詞同時出現, Gn 與量化副詞同時出現時,代表量化性副詞泛稱句。這兩類習慣句均可採預設性解讀或非預設性解讀。
    就完整體而言,討論集中在單動性(Singulactional markers)以及複動性標記(Pluractional markers)的重複性動作(Repeated actions)以及反覆性動作(repetitive actions)的語意內涵。漢語中的單動性標記又和再預設了過往事件(Prior events)的存在;而又修飾重複性動作,因此又修飾的事件和過往事件的關係沒有累積延續的意涵,只能說兩個事件的事件類型(event type)一致。相反的再修飾反覆性動作,因此再修飾的事件和過往事件有累積延續的關係。而複動性標記一再、再三、一直、一天到晚、不時大多修飾重複性事件,但是受到複動性標性本身修飾事件間隔時間,以及修飾事件的事件類型的影響,一直修飾單動作動詞(semelfactive verb)時,句子中包含的為反覆性事件。
    本篇論文從完整體和非完整體的角度探討漢語中的複動性標記,並且對兩陣營中複動性標記的不同行為做出分析。
