Open vSwitch,一個新的虛擬交換機,是專用於虛擬環境中使用。
Open vSwitch 不同於傳統方法,它發展的外部介面細粒度控制的配置狀態和轉發行為。我們展示 Open vSwitch 如何運行基於 Linux 的虛擬化平台,KVM。然後,我們展示幾個表現在WiFi和3G環境中的實驗結果,例如:使用頻寬、丟包率和響應時間,做為指標進行比較。
Open vSwitch, a new virtual switch that was purpose-built for use in virtualized environments.
Open vSwitch differs from traditional approaches in that it exports an external interface for fine-
grained control of configuration state and forwarding behavior. We present how Open vSwitch run
on Linux-based virtualization platform, KVM. We then present the result of several experiements
performed in both WiFi and 3G enviorments, using bandwidth, packet lost rate, and response time
as the metrics for comparison.
