我們合成無機氧化物Silica及有機高分子Polystyrene兩種膠體粒子。在裝有膠體粒子懸浮液的容器底部加熱,使之產生溫度梯度。粒子會因為溫度梯度的關係而跑到液氣界面,最後形成自組裝排列成有規則結構。
本研究主要探討粒子在液氣界面形成有規則結構的因素。而由實驗結果顯示粒子的濃度越高越容易在界面處成膜;設定溫度較高粒子成膜也較容易成膜。低杯成膜較高杯好,說明較高的溫度梯度,有助於粒子成膜;此外粒子表面電荷也會影響成膜,zeta-potential值越小越是難在界面產生膜;從SiO2及PS實驗結果顯示,粒子與溶劑之間的密度差不是造成粒子在界面成膜的最大因素。
