王鼎鈞散文中的人性考察之探究

　　關於人心人性，我們可以把它視為通則，也可以視之為流動的特例。凡是人都會有某些行為趨向，但表現方式卻有千百種不同。在現代散文史上，王鼎鈞是一位對人性深度探勘、展現智慧觀照的大家，他以本身廣泛的閱歷為讀者提供眾多人性面貌，讓我們可以由此證彼，由樣本形象推知其背後的心理解構與複雜思維，藉以反映人生，折射時代。
　　本文以王鼎鈞散文中的人性考察為探究中心，分別透過作家對戀愛、戰爭、宗教、職場與生活等各個面向的人性描繪以分析人性的趨向與規律，藉以對人性有更多的理解與包容──除了在職場與生活中人性的各種相狀，我們還看到人性在戀愛展現典型、在戰爭中產生變形、在宗教中獲得昇華。所以人最好不要遇上戰爭，但最好能夠有戀愛的滋養與宗教的救贖。
　　其作品示現人性，提供我們與他人「兼生」的機會；提供階段地圖，協助不同根器的人透視人性；因為洞悉人性，能更加圓熟事理，成為一個適合社會生活的人。本論文的研究不在於對人性批判撻伐或歌詠讚嘆，而是希望透過對人性的了解而有同情包容與敬畏戒慎的通變；因了解而不誤觸地雷，因了解而更勇於任事，對於難能可貴的人性表現能更加珍視尊敬。

A Study of Humanity Probing in Ting-Chun Wang’s Essays

Humanity, or human nature, can be regarded as either generalizations or flowing characteristics. Every person has certain behavioral tendencies, but there can be thousands of ways to express them. In the history of modern essay, Ting-chun Wang is a master of probing the depths of humanity and offering a view of wisdom. With his extensive knowledge and experience, he has depicted many facets of human nature, allowing readers to make inferences by reasoning from the model characters their psychological framework and complex thinking behind their behavior, so that life is mirrored and the time era is reflected.
This study focuses on the humanity probing in Ting-chun Wang’s essays, analyzing the tendencies and patterns of humanity through the writer’s depiction of various aspects of human nature, such as romance, war, religion, workplace and daily life, in hopes of gaining more understanding and tolerance of humanity. Aside from the various appearances of human nature in workplace and daily life, we also see human nature’s prototypes in romantic relationships, its transformation in war and its transcendence in religion. For that reason, it would be better not to have war, but to have nurturing romances and religious redemption.
Ting-chun Wang’s literary works demonstrate humanity, which provides us and the others with an opportunity to live different lives, and offers phase maps to help people of different apprehensive abilities to see through human nature. Being able to see through human nature enables us to become more tactful and adaptable to social life. The purpose of this study is neither to criticize and condemn human nature, nor to praise and extol it; it is to learn to be sympathetic, tolerant, respectful, fearful and forbearing based on the understanding so as to be adaptable; it is to avoid stepping on one’s land mines accidentally and to be more courageous to take on responsibility because we know better; it is to treasure and respect more the rare and precious expressions of humanity.
