This study attempts to identify the possible relationship between intra-team trust and
knowledge sharing behavior of employees in India. The study was conducted in the IT, ITES
industries focusing on the team work behavior of employees. Three kinds of reward system:
performance based individual reward, knowledge sharing based individual reward, and
performance based group reward was examined as a moderator in the relationship between intrateam
trust and knowledge sharing behavior.
Findings show that there is a significant positive relationship between intra-team trust and
knowledge sharing behavior of employees. However, there was no significant moderation effect
from all three moderators in this study. Based on the results, managerial implications were
discussed, suggestion for future research is provided based on the limitations, and a conclusion is
obtained for this study.
