本研究旨在探討STEAM教育結合幼兒音樂課程之設計,以水杯音階作為STEAM教育課程主軸,輔以幼兒音樂律動課程。研究者以新竹縣竹北市,一間私人音樂工作室之兩組學生進行研究課程,主要以其中兩名3-4歲幼兒作為研究對象。
本研究採質性研究法之個案研究進行,研究者在研究過程中擔任教學者。研究期間,所蒐集到的資料有:相機教學錄影、教師日誌、家長及專家訪談紀錄。在與文獻資料相互整理、分析後,所獲知結論如下:
一、 透過STEAM教育結合幼兒音樂之課程設計,教師能培養其對STEAM教育基本核心素養。
二、 STEAM教育能有效引起學生主動學習的興趣。
三、 透過STEAM教育,能在遊戲中建立幼兒對音高的認知概念。
四、 透過STEAM教育,能讓幼兒提升語文表達能力及數的概念。
根據上述結論,研究生對研究提出建議,作為幼兒音樂課程設計與未來研究之參考。
In this thesis, STEAM is applied to the music education design for the early childhood. STEAM is an education model constructed with five traditional academic subjects, which are Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Musical water glass scale is used as an example to demonstrate the music education and musical rhythm with STEAM, and this course is hold in one private workshop in Zhubei. In this course, two groups of subjects are observed.
In this work, the qualitative method is used to qualify the impact of the proposed STEAM model in the music education for the early childhood. The author is also teacher in this course. Within the twelve weeks of the STEAM course, the video records, teaching logs, and interview records with student parents and experts are used to analyze the effectiveness of the proposed STEAM teaching method. There are four main conclusions, as shown below.
1. Combining STEAM education model and toddler music course design can help teachers to understand and be familiar with the core competence fo the STAM education model.
2. STEAM education model is effective in attracting student’s interest of active learning.
3. STEAM education model helps early childhood to study the pitch concepts within the game.
4. STEAM education model helps early childhood to improve the expression and the concepts of counting.
Based on these conclusions, author give some suggestions in designing the early childhood music education and guideline for the future work.
