探究試教學法是強調以學生為中心，給予他們思考及討論空間的教學法。本研究將比較探究式教學與傳統的講述式教學對於學生的學習成效。分別以講述式教學的「講述學習內容-教師示範-學生解題」及探究式教學的「問題-過程-解答-延伸」的步驟來進行。
研究者以新竹市某公立國小五年級某一個班級作為研究對象，為期三週的教學，使用康軒版數學五下第六單元-表面積、第七單元-列式與解題設計探究式教學法的課程以及康軒版數學五上第六單元整數四則運算、五下第一單元-體積設計講述式教學做為對照組。研究工具為數學學習測驗、教學日誌、拍照。資料分析方法為Kolmogorov-Smirnov檢定及自助法(bootstrap method)。
本研究結果如下:
一、 以探究式教學單元的學習成效優於講述式教學單元的學習成效。
二、 使用探究式教學法學生接受度高

The inquiry teaching is a teaching method that emphasizes student-centeredness while giving them room to think and discuss. This study focuses on comparing the effectiveness of the inquiry teaching with the traditional expository teaching for students. The authors use the steps of "Description of Learning Content - Teacher Demonstration - Student Solving" by expository teaching and "Question - Process - Solution - Extension" of inquiry teaching.
The author took a class in the fifth grade of a public elementary school in Hsinchu city as a research object for a three-week teaching. The textbook used is the sixth unit surface area, seventh unit forms and problem solving of the Kang Hsuan version second semester of fifth grade mathematics to design the inquiry teaching course. Moreover, the first unit volume Kang Hsuan version first semester of fifth grade mathematics and the sixth unit operaion of integer of the Kang Hsuan version of second semester of fifth grade mathematics were designed as the control group. The tools used in this study are mathematics learning tests, teaching logs, and photographs. The data analysis methods used were Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and Bootstrap method.
The results of this study are summarized as follows:
1. The learning effect caused by the inquiry teaching is better than that of the story telling unit.
2. Using the inquiry teaching makes students highly accepted
