本篇論文探討了金融體系全球化對經濟增長的推動作用，尤其聚焦於亞洲四小龍：香港、新加坡、韓國和台灣。研究的動機源於對金融發展與經濟增長之間相關性的持續討論，以及與金融全球化相關的潛在挑戰和風險。 論文的首部分闡述了支持金融發展與經濟增長正相關關係的理論基礎和實證證據。並透過金融全球化指數以及亞洲四小龍的案例研究，討論了金融全球化對金融體系整合的影響。第二部分深入剖析了金融全球化的複雜影響，調查了這種現象可能帶來的重大不穩定性挑戰，並討論了各國如何透過建立金融體系一體化框架來從金融全球化中獲益，同時強調了國家在這一過程中扮演的角色。第三部分則考慮了經濟增長的替代途徑和調整金融模式的必要性，討論了台灣和韓國經濟戰略的多樣化，以及採取定制化方法的重要性，並運用結構模型來分析替代戰略的影響。本文還對當前金融模式的未來提出了質疑，考慮到金融體系的不斷變化和資本主義體系的潛在終結。 研究結果期望能對學術界和政策制定者關於金融全球化在促進經濟增長中所扮演角色及其相關潛在風險的辯論做出貢獻。本文亦提供了有關如何有效構建金融體系並向更健康體系轉型的策略建議。

This thesis explores the extent to which the globalization of financial systems has enabled economies to grow, with a particular focus on the four Asian Dragons: Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan. The research is motivated by the ongoing debate on the correlation between financial development and economic growth, and the potential challenges and risks associated with financial globalization.
The first part of the thesis examines the theoretical foundations and empirical evidence supporting the positive correlation between financial development and economic growth. It also discusses the implications of financial globalization for the integration of financial systems, drawing on the Financial Globalization Indices and a case study of the four Asian Dragons. The second part of the thesis delves into the ambiguous effects of financial globalization. It investigates how this phenomenon generates challenges that can lead to major instabilities. Furthermore, it explores how countries can reap the benefits of financial globalization by developing a framework for financial systems integration, with a focus on the state's role in this construction. The third part of the thesis considers alternative paths for economic growth and the need to adapt financial models. It discusses the diversification of economic strategies in Taiwan and South Korea and the necessity for a tailored approach, using structural models to analyze the impact of alternative strategies. The thesis also questions the future of the current financial model, considering the constant evolution of financial systems and the potential end of the capitalist system. The findings hope to contribute to the ongoing academic and policy debates on the role of financial globalization in promoting economic growth and the potential risks associated with it.
