染整業一直以來都被稱為3K產業,因其工作場所較為骯髒、工作內容較為危險及辛苦,所以在台灣越來越難以經營。然而染整業身為紡織業供應鏈裡面的化妝師,提供各式各樣的染色及機能性加工服務,使布疋的附加價值提高,在台灣機能性布料供應鏈裡,展有舉足輕重的地位,因此染整業的持續發展對於台灣紡織業的生存至關重要。近幾年中國及東南亞國家的紡織產業興起,當地染整業者挾帶便宜的人工及賦稅優惠,造成台灣染整業者極大的生存壓力。除了技術持續精進及成本優化之外,台灣的業者是否還有別的道路可以選擇?
本研究以T公司為例,利用「SWOT分析」及「五力分析」來評估公司的內外部經營狀況及產業內競爭情形,導出數位轉型的急迫性及重要性,並進一步闡述T公司於數位轉型途中所做的努力,包含問題的定義、發展轉型對策、擬訂目標、訂定數位轉型計畫、執行、與成果展示等。染整業面對的競爭威脅日趨嚴峻,本研究藉由分析T公司的數位轉型計畫,來提供台灣染整業者一個不同於以往但相較於僅注重於成本縮減之外,更有機會能永續經營的。
Dyeing and finishing business has been categorized as part of 3K industry because it is famous for its dirty working environment and being hard and dangerous for operators to work in the factory. Therefore it is getting hard to run dyeing and finishing business in Taiwan. However, as a makeup artist of textile industry, dyeing and finishing business has provided various types of dyeing and functional processing services to add up the value of garment. As a result, it is significantly important for dyeing and finishing business to keep developing in Taiwan. The emerging competitors from China and Southeast Asia with low labor cost and tariff preference have caused a lot of pressure on Taiwanese dyeing and finishing factories. This case has a question about whether there is any better way for dyeing and finishing business to survive in Taiwan than only trying to improve dyeing technology and reduce operating cost.
This study uses Company T as case study and utilizes the "five force analysis" and "SWOT analysis" to evaluate the competitiveness of Company T in dyeing and finishing business. This study also emphasizes the urgency and importance of implementing the digital transformation for the company. In the following pages, this study elaborates on what Company T has done for the digital transformation including defining problem, developing transformation strategy, setting target, making plan, executing plan, and reviewing outcome.
The competition of worldwide dyeing and finishing business is getting severe. This study is trying to provide an alternative for dyeing and finishing business to strive for success by implementing digital transformation which is much better than just focusing on reducing costs.
