半導體產業經由數十年的發展,因各公司競爭能力的不同而漸漸演變成分工精細的產業,而晶圓代工即是在此分工產業鏈中的「製造服務業」,其特殊之處是採取接單式生產,需在接到客戶訂單後快速的安排生產交期。但在越來越多競爭者加入下,晶圓代工業者必須建立一套能滿足客戶需求,又能保有生產彈性的機制以提升其競爭力。本研究即是探討在晶圓代工廠在面臨需求變化快及產能不易擴充之下的中期產能規劃問題。
本研究考量晶圓代工業是接單生產的特性,因此產能規劃是從滿足客戶訂單需求為出發點,雖然工廠產能無法於短時間內擴充,但另一種思考方向便是增加廠區間的生產彈性,透過彈性的生產規劃對客戶的需求預測做最好的分配。本研究即透過晶圓代工廠的供給與需求限制分析後,提出以購買附屬工具-「光罩」為增加產能彈性的方法,提供給決策者面臨產能淡旺季時調節產能的建議,並建構出數學模型做為產能規劃的機制,有效分配客戶需求預測,最後本研究也利用晶圓代工廠實例驗證本研究的可行性,並做出下列建議:(1) 利用購買附屬工具和增加產品認證廠區都是增加產能彈性方法,因此可考慮產品生命週期,針對生命週期長的產品進行購買多套光罩以及驗證多個廠區,有效提升產能利用率與客戶滿足率。(2) 基於代工廠為接單式生產的產業,與客戶關係更顯重要,因此產能規劃時需考慮客戶重要度,以避免利基客戶因為得不到產能而將訂單轉去其他競爭者的情形。
