Entrepreneurship has proven to be a viable option for developing countries as Honduras. Social Entrepreneurship, theoretically, should thrive in a context with a great need to alleviate social issues. A qualitative research was conducted, using case study methodology, to interview and acquire information from 9 key actors and players from different backgrounds that form the ecosystem for social entrepreneurial ventures. The results showed the factors and forces that shape the environment that in turn creates the ecosystem in which all the players exist reflecting the interactions and characteristics unique to the Honduran Context. In this ecosystem interactions include those with other social value creating organizations and traditional entrepreneurial ecosystem.
