本篇論文主要在討論,在整合NEMO(Network Mobility)以及SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)協定的環境架構下,當Mobile Network從Home Network移動至其它的Visited Network區域時,Mobile Network內的節點卻因為NEMO協定的環境因素,而無法查知Visited Network區域當地的SIP Proxy位置,不但無法使用能反應Mobile Network目前位置的Visited Network當地的SIP Proxy資源,甚至會因為外在環境因素,卻去使用遠在行動路由器(Mobile Router,以下簡稱MR)Home Network的SIP Proxy,而此SIP Proxy並無法反應出實際Mobile Network的位置,因此當Mobile Network內的節點欲與其他節點建立SIP通話的過程當中,在與MR Home Network的SIP Proxy建立SIP註冊後,控制訊息在傳遞時會因為外在的環境因素,由外傳送至Mobile Network內節點的訊息均必需透過MR的Home Network SIP Proxy以及MR的Home Agent將訊息封裝(encapsulate)至Mobile Network,而SIP訊息傳送至Mobile Network外,也必須將訊息繞至遠在MR Home Network的SIP Proxy,再由此SIP Proxy負責將訊息傳送至其他SIP元件,因而造成了控制訊息過多、延遲時間過長以及無法達成路徑最佳化(Route Optimization)等的問題,嚴重影響需要即時(real-time)特性的網路電話效能,這種情況在Nested Mobile Network環境下顯的更為嚴重。我們所提出的方法:行動代理伺服器(Mobile Proxy,以下簡稱MP)Mobile Network內配置MP後,除了讓Mobile Network內的節點能透過MP與外界建立SIP通話,節省控制訊息的時間,更透過MP與MR的整合,使得MP在Mobile Network移動時,能立即得知位置的改變,而使用Visited Network當地的SIP Proxy,進而改善上述問題。本篇論文除了透過詳細程序的說明以及比較,我們也會提出完整地效能分析(Performance Analysis)以及結論。
