記憶體模組廠商的採購對於模組廠商而言相當重要,本研究探討供應商關係與上下游資訊分享影響採購方式,進而影響採購指標之運作模式。。記憶體模組廠商之採購方式有三種:長期合約(Contract)、現貨市場交易(Spot Market)以及混合式。三種採購方式中,長期合約的採購方式有助於建立良好的供應商關係,供應商的關係對於模組廠商的採購方式有所影響;然而模組廠商與供應商間的資訊分享亦相當頻繁,上下游的資訊分享內容影響著記憶體模組廠商的採購方式。
本研究以台灣記憶體模組廠商為研究對象,採取個案訪談的方式研究供應商關係與資訊分享影響採購方式。本研究根據文獻與訪談結果歸納出在不同的供應商關係下,模組廠商會依據採購目的以及達成目標之考量採用不同的採購方式;而在資訊分享上,對於DRAM與Flash採購分別有不同的關鍵影響因素。模組廠商亦根據所獲得的市場資訊,來判斷目前所身處之採購情境,而在特殊採購情境下,如預期市場將供不應求、價格上漲,模組廠商會增加現貨市場購買比重。最後本研究歸納出四個模組廠商所著重的採購指標。
