Abstract:
The present research aims to explore the transformation of the teachers’ role and the study activities in classes under the promotion of the remote video system in the natural and daily domain of the primary schools, and to study the factors affecting the transformation. The research objects are the partner teachers participated in the professional scheme concerning the remote video system and the growth of the teachers. The qualitative research is mainly used, and the author uses the observation and score tables about the performance of the teachers as the major instrument, observing and collecting the performance of the teachers and the study activities in classes. The author also combines the scientific scale of the teachers’attitude in the natural domain, the scientific scale of the students’learning attitude, interviews and the conference materials to achieve the research conclusions. The research results are as follows:
1. The remote video system promotes the change of the teachers’role and the activities in classes, and affirms the feedback function about the literature which promotes the development of teachers’professional abilities.
2. The discussions in classes promote the change of the role of teachers in partner schools, and the classes become students-centered.
3. The study activities in classes has also changed, but the students haven’t developed their self-study ability.
Finally, according to the research results, the author offers suggestions concerning the professional developing scheme of the subsequent teachers and the future research.
Key words: the remote video system, professional development in the nature domain, teaching role of teachers, classroom activities.
