不同身體活動程度老年人平衡控制與功能性活動之差異
摘要
本研究目的在探討不同IPAQ身體活動程度老年人平衡控制與功能性活動之差異。研究徵召30位健康老年人作為受試者(年齡67.0 ± 7.1歲、體重61.97 ± 8.08公斤、身高160.43 ± 6.71公分),依台灣中文版IPAQ評估得分,分為高IPAQ組與低IPAQ組(得分8359.5±1923.2 vs. 3307.9±597.1, t = 9.72, p < .05),再分別以AMTI三軸測力板與平衡測定儀評估其平衡控制能力的表現;以坐椅站立、6公尺起身-走步及6分鐘走測驗評估其功能性活動表現,所得結果以獨立樣本t檢定分析兩組各變項之差異。結果顯示:(一)高IPAQ得分組的老年人有顯著較佳的靜態控制平衡能力:左右偏移、前後偏移、偏移速度、偏移面積 (t = -2.12, -2.87, -2.70, -2.13, p皆<.05);(二)高IPAQ得分組的老年人在動態平衡等級4的表現顯著較佳(t = -2.24, -2.30, -2.22, p皆<.05)(三)高IPAQ得分組的老年人有顯著較佳的坐椅站立 (15.6 vs. 11.6 次, t = 2.63, p < .05) 及6公尺起身走步 (7.32 vs. 9.46 分鐘, t = -3.02, p < .05) 測驗表現。本研究結論為IPAQ可應用於評估老年人平衡控制能力、坐椅站立與6公尺起身走步功能性活動表現,且走路及中等費力動態活動可有效促進老年人平衡控制與功能性活動表現,提昇老年人的生活品質。
The Differences of Balance Control and Functional Activity of the Elders in Different Amount of International Physical Activity Questionnaire
ABSTRACT
The aim of this research is to discuss the difference of the balance control and functional activity ability of the elders of different IPAQ performance. The research calls for 30 healthy elderly people as test subjects (age 67.0 ± 7.1 years old, weight 61.97 ± 8.08 kg, height 160.43 ± 6.71 cm). They were split into a high IPAQ group and a low IPAQ group (8359.5±1923.2 vs. 3307.9±597.1, t = 9.72, p < .05) in accordance with Taiwan IPAQ. Their balance control is later measured with the AMTI three-axis force plate and the stabilometer. Sit and Stand, Sit, stand and walk for 6 meters and 6 minutes walking to evaluate their functional activity performance. The result is examined with an independent sample t to analyze the difference between the variations of two groups. The result indicates: 1. Subjects of high IPAQ group obviously have better static balance control: Left to right shifting, front to rear shifting, shifting speed, shifting area (t=-2.12, -2.87, -2.70, -2.13, p is<.05 to all) 2. Subjects of high IPAQ group outperform in movement balance level 4 (t=-2.24, -2.30, -2.22, p is<.05 to all) 3. Subjects of high IPAQ group perform better in sit and stand test (15.6 vs. 11.6 times, t = 2.63, p < .05) and 6 meter stand-up walking (7.32 vs. 9.46 minutes, t = -3.02, p < .05) tests. The conclusion of the research is that IPAQ could be a good indication to evaluate the balance control and functional activity ability such as sit and stand and 6 meter stand and walk of elderly citizens. Walking and other moderately laborious activities can effectively strengthens the balance control and functional activity performance of the elders and thus enhance their life quality.
