本研究為利用導氧離子材料SDC(Samarium-Doped Ceria)做為擔體,以雙金屬鎳以及銅作為活性金屬的觸媒來行使甲烷蒸氣重組實驗(Steam Reforming of Methane,SR),以及部分二氧化碳氧化甲烷蒸氣重組實驗(Partial CO2-Oxidative Steam Reforming of Methane,CO2-SR);並再以水氣於觸媒表面解離產生氫氣實驗以及二氧化碳程溫氧化實驗(CO2-Temperature-programmed oxidation,CO2 -TPO)來瞭解反應物於觸媒表面作用的機制。結果發現水汽較易吸附於銅原子上,再進行解離;而二氧化碳分子與甲烷分子一般都較易吸附於鎳原子上再進行解離;而於蒸氣重組反應進料再通以額外的二氧化碳雖會些許增加甲烷轉化率以及氫氣生成速率,但是卻也會造成過多的積碳產生。
