    The study focuses on trade and relations of Taiwan with Latin American Countries. Having stiff competition from China and other countries, Taiwan is trying to develop its diplomatic and trade relations with South Asian countries and Latin American countries. In addition, this study focuses on the countries with whom Taiwan has a diplomatic relationship and how Taiwan is taking steps to develop trade, investment and cultural relations. To facilitate better cooperation, Taiwan has signed various Free Trade Agreements and are working on new ones. This thesis focuses on the problems Taiwan has to face while expanding business in Latin American countries. The research also discusses various opportunities of doing business in Latin America and sectors it can target. This study opens opportunities for Taiwan to increase its trade and business in Latin American Countries and at the same time develop its international relations in the long run.
